What We Do: The Analytics group provides analytics to the Banana Republic and Banana Republic Factory Stores Global Omni Planning and Yield Management organizations to drive business results and meet brand goals.

The Analyst role will partner closely with the BR Specialty Men’s division, and will be responsible for providing analytical rigor to inventory management methodologies and approach. This work will include quantitative analysis and presentation of findings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Supporting key initiatives and strategies through analytics that quantify results through structured approach, rigorous analysis, and proactive communication.

·Find new opportunities and provide insight to divisional leaders through quantitative analysis, investigation and partnership.

·Support divisional leaders in developing strategic inputs to milestones to support decision-making across the organization.

·Informing inputs and metrics for inventory management systems to ensure they are set up to support strategies.

·Examine organizational decision behavior, efficiency and outcomes relative to the initial strategies and apply learnings.

·Share your learnings from these activities to broaden organizational knowledge.

·Partner with Inventory Strategy on the analytics needed for future capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate needs to have successful prior experience/knowledge of inventory management and stakeholder management.

·Understanding of retail industry. Apparel and/or Gap Inc experience a plus.

·Strong quantitative analysis skills and ability to evaluate complex systems to find insights.

·Intellectual agility to take on projects with limited guidance and find the approach as well as the answers.

·Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross functional partners.

·Proven ability to prioritize and focus to deliver timely work.

·Demonstrated ability to approach opportunities with a problem solving mindset.

Minimum Experience:

·Excellent quantitative aptitude with experience in non-academic environment.

·BA/BS with emphasis on quantitative skills.
