Summary of Responsibilities

The Investor Business Development Account Manager is responsible for sales and relationship management with the top 50 mortgage investors and other alliance partners across all products offered to this client segment. The Account Executive is a critical interface across multiple internal departments, including sales, technical support, legal, finance/accounting, product management, and product marketing, to achieve results and attain revenue targets.

This candidate will be responsible for obtaining and creating and pursuing opportunities, providing day-to-day relationship management, meeting revenue targets, and engaging customers to deliver outstanding service. This individual should possess a breadth of experience and knowledge which spans the mortgage industry, technology platforms, and customer management.

The abilities to effectively communicate business value to executives and mortgage industry participants, rally internal support for scoping, product development, program deployment, and gain adoption are critical and required.

Position Summary and Essential Duties

  • Pursue and maintain day-to-day relationships with Investors and alliance partners

  • Evangelize the investor business development product suite internally and externally

  • Achieve sales goals across product line for new and incremental business

  • Engage and influence internal resources to ensure successful delivery of products and services

  • Work with internal sales account managers to drive adoption and usage of products and services

  • Report and track revenue, expenses, and other defined metrics

  • Maintain account, opportunities, and contact records in salesforce.com

  • Develop and support new partner resources and tools in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications, Skills & Education Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, partner management or account management. Candidate with technology company or sales organization experience preferred;

  • Bachelor of Arts or Business Management Degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent Certifications and Experience (Degree strongly preferred)

  • Must have proven and excellent customer interaction skills (both written and verbal)

  • Must have organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple issues and projects in a fast paced environment;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software;

  • Aptitude with mobile technology and devices and ability to work independently

  • A high degree of discretion, judgment, tact and poise;

  • Good analytical skills

  • Keen attention to detail
