Dignity Health Emergency Department Pharmacist in CARMICHAEL, California
Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a Dignity Health member, is a nationally recognized not-for-profit hospital located in Carmichael, California, serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County. The 370-bed facility is one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive medical centers, caring for more than 150,000 people each year and contains the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in the greater Sacramento region.
Pharmacist working 10-hour shifts in a fast paced ED and in central pharmacy. Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370 bed Level II trauma center with decentralized clinical pharmacists in various service lines: ED (85,000 ED visits/year), ASP, neurocritical care/neurology, oncology, trauma, Transitions of Care, pediatrics and neonatology. The successful candidate will have previous critical care and ED hospital experience, performing clinical interventions and providing medication information to healthcare providers.
· Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
· Current Registered Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy
· One year of hospital experience
· Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Residency Program (successful completion counts towards one year of hospital experience)
· Board certification
